Regarding the Fairview House, I see no mention of my mother and fathers ownership from 1942 to about 1967. My sister Marie and I enjoyed many a summer vacation there. I have many great memories of trout fishing in the Delaware Brooks. Bike riding and walking to Margaretville were great fun. I caddied for various hotels, mostly the Grand hotel in Highmount.
The family and guests all swam in the pool my father had built in the rear of the property. I sadly sold the fairview house after my fathers passing as my mother was unable to maintain it.
