Suffrage Parade and Film
WEDNESDAY, 7pm:
Walk down Main Street, Margaretville from Binnekill Park to the Open Eye Theater, meet the characters of the new musical “Seneca Falls,” and watch the 13-minute film, “Into the Light,” on the life and death of Suffragette Inez Milholland.
Admission Free.

Annual Meeting, Luncheon and Program

Presentation at 1:30 p.m.: “It Ain’t Nice Fur Purty: Tales from the Age of Homespun,” by Bill Horne, author of “The Improbable Community: Camp Woodland and the American Democratic Ideal.” This talk will feature Mike Todd, George Edwards and other local elders whose stories, skills and music were beloved and preserved by the children and leaders of Camp Woodland in Phoenicia, 1939-1962.
